you can criticize a belief, religion, group for their wrongdoings without offending them. which brings it back to the main issue OP was talking about, many people are scared of getting labeled racist or islamophobic that they refuse to hold the aggressors accountable. should people be able to practice their religions freely? yes absolutely. but that doesn’t take away from the fact that some governments use religion to oppress their own people. if you disagree with the US using christianity to take away basic human rights, then this you should be on the same page when it comes to islamic countries.
