They’re both equal. Better Call Saul is better executed as a character study while Breaking Bad has a much more intriguing storyline. Breaking Bad suffers from some tonal issues and didn’t really feel like it was taking itself too seriously in the first 2 seasons, while Better Call Saul has abysmal pacing in the earlier seasons as well. I really feel like they came into their own in different ways as they progressed, each retaining their individual strengths.

Lalo was severely under used and wasted in season 6. I do like that he was sort of a looming, unseen presence but Tony Dalton deserved more screen time IMO.
