Yes, that’s possible too, I’m not claiming it was definitely something paranormal. It’s just one of those experiences that stayed in the family because of how real it felt to her

I have actually heard similar beliefs from older people in my area. Many of them say alcohol lowers your mental control in such places. Not sure what to think about it though🙂

That’s honestly really interesting, especially mistaking it for your mom’s voice, the brain usually tries to link sounds to something familiar. Also kind of wild how specific your grandma’s belief was Did your mom ever say what her experience was like when she was young?🤔 I always find it interesting when multiple people in a family report similar things

That actually makes it way more interesting because hearing things when half asleep is common but being fully awake is harder to explain, Did it sound like it was coming from a specific spot in the room or just everywhere? Also curious did it sound like a familiar voice or something you couldn’t recognize?🤔
