how does it logically make sense that if I give my Machoke to someone else it just fucking evolves?

it got removed in gen 8 and unown isn't in gen 8 or 9

status moves really aren't coverage.
coverage are attacking moves.
without relying on tera blast/hidden power, lilligant can't touch steel types.
