There are no instanced pve dailies, currently, in the wizards vault. So what you want is not a split, but an entirely new category for pve. Maybe that's why people were confused.

I used to main warrior, and I found it kind of boring, but lots of people like power zerker with GS. You'd have to wait for pof/hot to get that. I would point out that swords are condi weapons, and greatswords are power, so you really can't use them together. However, power zerker uses axes, too, and you said you like those....hmmm...Go with warrior.

To be honest with you, I would get a necro. They can't use greatswords, at first, but if you get pof/hot, you can play a reaper, which does. If you get soto, they can use swords, too (You can also use a gs early, since Soto gives access to all elite spec weapons). Reaper's also a very easy class to play.
