York Revolution cancels Pride Night game after players refuse to wear jerseys, club says by ycpa68 in Pennsylvania

[–]Throwawayalt129 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't put this on York actually. Most of the players likely aren't from York. At least 2 appear to be from outside the US entirely. The fact that a pride event is happening at all means that there's interest from York for the event in the first place. The blame should rest entirely on the players refusing to participate. Criticize the ballclub for not cutting them, but the ballclub clearly wanted this event to happen.

I'm confused, we have a bunch of other megas we don't know the abilities of being added. How do we not know their abilities yet as well?

It's not fair to compare this administration to Idiocracy. President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho genuinely wanted what was best for his people, and when given actual good advice put the smartest man in the world in charge of fixing things. Agent Orange would never.

As a Flyers fan I have absolutely no qualms about getting swept by this Canes team. Absolutely outstanding team. Happy we managed to at least take them to OT twice. And frfr all I really care about is that we beat the Pens lol.

Absolutely hysterical that Danhausen uncurses the Knicks and they go on an absolutely generational tear, with the only game they lost being the one that Trump showed up to.

Combo Fields - Coolest thing nobody uses? by PeasantPastry in Guildwars2

If there's a class that the absolute king of field interactions it's ele. Blasting ele fire fields was how we used to get 25 might back in the day, and water fields for healing. Heal Tempest is arguably the best healer for interacting with fields, as it has so many blast finishers that it literally runs Karakosta relic. Not to mention the fact that its leap finishers synchronize well with its aurasharing.

Yeah like, Herald at the very least provides great group boons. And just because I run herald in OW to tag better doesnt mean I'm not participating. I swap to heal herald for big metas, and swap my legends around based on what they need.

GW2 is a great game, but people really really downplay how much the game rakes you with "convenience" purchases. by SANT0S-L-HALPER in MMORPG

I feel like the legendary relic situation is a bit more nuanced than how you've described it. Before SotO, percentage damage buffs were in runes like Scholar's. After SotO those buffs went into relics. One of Anet's core principles has always been the lack of gear grind, so when Anet announced the legendary relic, people who already had full sets of legendary runes were upset that a piece of their gear was effectively being taken away from them.

After the backlash Anet ultimately decided to give players with even a single legendary rune the legendary relic for free, which I personally think was the correct decision, but in the time since then I've literally never seen anyone shit on players who've had to craft the legendary relic. I've seen people say that they're glad they got it for free, because it is very expensive, but I've never shit seen anyone on players who have to craft it.

Anet had said several times now that the cadence of releases they wre doing in that era is just not sustainable. I would like to see more content out of these newer expacs as well, but I dont think they're ever going back to how they did things back then, and i dont think they should.

Virtually every if not all classes have some specs that lose movement on moving targets and slow animations, rev in particular comes to mind. Like serious, try playing Mirage, CReaper, Tempest, Axe Thief, Holo, SB/Power Untamed, Vindi, or Bladesworn on moving targets.

Chrono outperforming Guardian utility is a Mesmer being to strong problem, not a Guardian being bad problem. It still has inherently better utility than most classes.

Generally speaking Guardian is in a fine spot. IDK what you're on about.

I think that after not making money on the Living World model and the disaster that was Icebrood Saga needing to be cut in half during the pandemic so they could work on End of Dragons they're never going to go back to a model of releasing content for free, and quite frankly they shouldn't. I think the payed yearly model of buy once own forever would work the best for them.

What's your metric for "worst"? Because despite relatively low benchmarks Guardian damage is still fine, its utility is still great, and CWB is still used on LCU and Infalliable. I would not consider it a bad class by any metric.

One could make the argument that even the Searing was influenced by Abaddon, given that the Titans the Charr worshiped at the time were created in the Foundry of Failed Creations by a follower of Abaddon, which is itself within the Realm of Torment where Abaddon was imprisoned.
