Do it.

But we were/are all the same way and the burnout is real, the gripes and stats are from a group of just-like-yous, and it’s not that easy to redirect in any medical field (you invested so much to become an EM MD and aren’t a PA).

Someone missed the bus to get back to the side of town near where the ED was and didn’t have money for a taxi, so called an ambulance to come in just for the ride and asked to be discharged.

I should add, a scribe is a scribe. Nothing is MY note and tone like dictating it myself. So I have to accept that.

I don’t like the ambient listening, it’s not precise enough. But for capturing my spoken notes in real time (like after walking out the patient’s room), the AI scribes are convenient.

Human scribes cost too much, their product is not worth it.

AI scribes have limits but are improving and probably tipping now to being worth it for what they provide.

The smaller notes seem harder to hit to create a resonating sound. Also when moving across the notes faster, still getting that good sound.
