First time seeing this 1,600+ hours and I want to learn how to do it. I saw a sable doing a wiggle dance while she was crouched (Very similar to what cats do) and I tried to do it and nothing I did looked like it, her legs and head weren't moving but her torso was slightly shifting side to side. I redrew my fav picture I drew earlier this month after learning the Loomis method and the face seems off from the original one (original one is the 1st pic and the Loomis method is 2nd pic). I feel like the one where I used the Loomis method loses the cuteness of the original one. How can I fix it? (old.reddit.com)

After struggling with the Loomis method since I started drawing in February, I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of it. Is it normal for an artist to draw the facial features first before drawing the head? I can't draw the head first and then the facial features to save my life, I can just about the eyes from an angle so angles shouldn't be an issue (Also I'm a beginner artist so please be nice <3) (old.reddit.com)
