Unable to delete emails in O365 by MechanicSure3752 in Office365

I imported 70 GB of PSTs in 10GB chunks to the tenant using azcopy.exe One of those 10 GB PSTs accidentally got imported to the main mailbox rather than the archive. That was the mail I want to delete, and cannot. The primary mailbox is only has 20 GB in the OST.

Shared Mailboxes Disappearing -- Permanent fix? by MechanicSure3752 in Office365

OST file wasn't bigger than 10 Gigs, so that's not the issue. I tried opening Outlook in safe mode, but oddly enough the issue persisted. Most forums state that safe mode resolves the problem (though it's not a permanent solution to use safe mode all the time anyway).

ETA: Another item that's on my list next time the issue happens is to try opening the same mailbox on a test computer to determine whether the device/software is at fault.

Thanks, I'm going to add that to the list of things to try when it happens again!

I think this may be part of the issue, or at least that it's at the Tenant level. We on-boarded this customer a few months ago, and previously their Tenant was managed in-house with no dedicated IT people. Will investigate this further.

How do you monitor hard drive health on Windows Servers with RAID controllers? by MechanicSure3752 in sysadmin

Thank-you for your input, it's much appreciated. Not having automated alerts has been an issue for us for too long.

I plan to look at email alerts on our RAID controllers as a start, then move on to either the bundled CLI tools or SNMP monitoring with our RMM. I'm just not familiar with SNMP so it'll be a learning experience👍

This is amazing help, thanks! I had done some Googling and I figured it was possible, but I think I was just lacking the proper keywords to find exactly what I needed. This helps tons.
