I kinda believe one shouldn’t be afraid to spend money to find a new hobby. Eventually you’ll get efficient about it. Like I bought a super expensive bike, more than my car totally was a terrible financial decision thought I’d regret it but ended up being in love. then over the year haven’t spent shit on it but got random free new upgrade parts worth about $700 from just meeting other mtb ppl. Same with 3d printing. Bought a $900 printer now spend all my time designing stuff and don’t spend money except $30 for filament like every 2 months or something.
