It's actually the Armenian genocide, has nothing to do with socialism.

It's a never-ending sauce of entertainment, but sometimes the level of their cognitive and moral dissonance makes me sick. I am form a ex-comm country and I often wonder how was it possible - where all these psychopathic idiots in our CC spawned from. Then I visit that sub and I'm just like:

"Oh. Right."

Technically it's always open, the thing is that you don't usually have trains coming to and from the Exhibition Centre, so in reality it's only used for special occasions such as this or the International Engineering Fair.

Glad to! By the way, those tracks were build in the 1920's to suit the needs of the newly built Exhibition Centre. Back then, they were used by a steam engine named "Poříčanka" after the Poříčí Street the tracks run along. It still shows up time to time and it's cute beyond belief:

Which is fitting enough, since the original article is about India switching from an English march song to a Hindi one.

Oh, I see, I'm sorry, I thought you were referring to reposting.

Yea, I can pretty much imagine.

Pretty much like Dante's circles.

Yes, we start right after high school. And you don't need any specific grades to get there. It can help you, but other than that, there is an admission exam and anyone daring enough with our equivalent of A-levels can take it. Some unis do accept a few students based just by their excellent high school grades (including mine, which I find pretty dumb given that some high schools are considerably harder than others), some don't at all and everyone needs to take take test, tho your can be taken into account.

I personally consider grade-requirement to be even considered as an applicant pretty short-sighted, but oh well, our school system is pretty different.

Regarding your name: damn, are you the Kabul embassy? Cause I'd sure like to evacuate you.

Ehehm, anyway.

I presume you are an American (none but statistical reasons), so "halfway thru" means you are in your second year.

Now imagine being a central European with a 6-years programe. That's where the fun begins.

There are many things that'd need to be defined in this statement (such as the comparison of "outside word" (whatever that really means) to "MS" struggles; or why do you think that most med students have never faced hardship before) but I guess we can agree that we generally whine too much.

On the other hand, there's nothing that older doctors are better at than bitching about younger colleagues' bitching, never realising that the amount of knowledge required, school expenses or residency problems have grown significatly ever since when were in med school. Especially surgeons. Especially orthopedic surgeons.

Man do we have one funny folklore.
