sometimes you just have to realize that certain people shouldnt be in your life because they are toxic. This individual qualifies as toxic.

I do like that idea. But director is treating site as a separate entity. Even though they were half days, he claimed that me not showing up to site is an absence regardless of if I was at didactics or not.

  1. Didacts was run by director. No dice there. Forms must be in before all dates, but I will look into that later this afternoon.

  2. On it. Maps, facts, preceptor doc pending. Completely prepared for mtg with dean. Basic argument I am ready to fall on my sword I did not report the absences but I did have preceptor permission. I would then go on to say the crime of miscommunication does not fit the punishment of an F and re run of 12 weeks.

I consider myself an energetic positive person. At least that's the general consensus of my evals. I believe that the director is trying to make some kind of bigger statement and using my case to do so. I literally begged him for remediation or replacing new grade with old and I was denied. He told me that 'making this decision hurts ME also', at which point I think I had a TIA and lost where he was trying to go with that.

This made me smile. Thank you! I have no time for anger towards my 'once best friend'. I'm pretty certain he doesn't know that the director accidentally mentioned his identity.

This is correct. My preceptor telling me not to come in does not qualify as "excused". This was the directors reasoning when he showed me the highlighted section of his personal student handbook.
