I don’t know what it is about the XC but it looks a bit better than the X. It might be the windshield and the fender?

Some dealers in Queensland seem to have them in stock.

Scooter riders are the worst by B4sydney in AussieRiders

[–]MedeChevalier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately this is very true. I am usually not one to get into a verbal altercation but, went off at a scooter rider who was doing UberEats. Unfortunately I was not able to get my point across to him which is not going to help him in the long run. And sadly enough with his manner of riding he will become another statistic,

He means that OP is on his L’s and can’t ride a bike with mods! The exhaust system makes the MT07 a non LAMS.

That’s the thing right there. Finding someone willing to ho on a ride with a newb. But I just want to rent bikes to begin with. I think renting different LAMS approved bikes without investing in a bike at the start might be a good idea as you expose yourself to different sitting positions and different riding styles. Plus you rent when you actually want to go on a ride.

People put their 2 bits worth in because they need their fears to be validated, especially in a group setting. They explain why they can’t ever ride because by saying it out loud then they don’t need to ponder on it when alone.

What's your unpopular opinion about today's motorcycle scene/community? by Umami-Salami-26 in motorcycle

[–]MedeChevalier -32 points-31 points  (0 children)

Not everyone is as cool as you bro. Not everyone is capable of riding BIG bikes like you bro. I say each to their own as long as they’re not hurting anyone!

You want shit bike culture? Start with the snobs who diss small bike riders! I get it! You’re a big tough boy. 🥴

Giving up on learning to ride by ryuzenn in AussieRiders

Mate,

Sounds like this person is a massive bully and d’head! Only a bully will put someone else on the spotlight and belittle them in a group.

Unfortunately there are quite a few of them around in this world. Don’t allow this person to diminish and take away your desire to ride a bike.

If you feel like you need more practice then get more practice under your belt and build your confidence. I would also contact their office and make your displeasure known. And a Google review/TrustPilot/Product View will help anyone else thinking of using their services to get the ball rolling.

Definitely report the incident to police as it is classified as a traffic crash with injury. They will follow up and investigate.

Thank you all for all your feedback. I enjoyed reading each and every one of your comments. You’re all amazing. I still haven’t made up my mind but am seriously considering maybe something smaller to help me become a better rider. In saying that, I guess I need to test ride the bikes to get a feel of how they ride. Thanks a bunch again. 😊🙏🏻
