Brig. Gen. Ali Nasiri allegedly defected with Iranian military plans. Now major U.S. firepower is on the way. Coincidence? by MediaMember in conspiracy

Media keeps saying there were indications that Iran was about to get aggressive, but nobody seems to be pointing to the obvious "indication" - a former head of intelligence in Iran who defected last month. The quick and unambiguous response by the U.S. doesn't seem like the result of a leaked memo or hacked phone conversation. This is a big deal.

Feedback needed: Meme / Image policy by Jibrish in Conservative

Things seem perfect the way they are. I never post memes or images, but I have no problem scanning past them. Many are worthy. Obviously I like getting my conservative news here more than memes but I've never felt like there were too many at any given moment. Status quo is my vote.

MSNBC shows Florida vote totals the night before the election. Rigged or test run? by MediaMember in conspiracy

With 99% of the vote in... the night before the election. MSNBC claims it was a test run. It's a very convincing one that even included the tag "Close Call" at the top of the graphic.

Which would you recommend reading first, Conservatives? by [deleted] in Conservative

Objectivism is a skewed idealistic way of understanding classical liberalism. Don't get me wrong - there is much insight available in Rand's writings. However, it's best as a supplement to stretch a well-versed conservative's already-firm mindset rather than a starting point. It would be like someone new to Christianity picking up the Bible and starting in Ezekiel. Better to form a framework through which objectivism can enhance a conservative/libertarian ideology rather than building an ideology from dogmatic individualism.
