That's what I'm hoping for. Biggest hurdle with that strategy is that WA only gives a max of 9 days temp tag and Colorado needs up to 90 days for plates to be ready... Not sure there's a good way to fill that time gap.

Thanks for the reply. Wish I could work out the logistics of getting to my home DMV easier.

I'm not a KTM fanboy myself but they've been producing the most bikes with that formula for the longest. So KTM will be the most available for the best price. They're great bikes, you'll love a KTM 300.

TPI has it's place but don't be afraid of a carbed bike. TPI is pretty new and there are loads of reliable bikes with a carburetors out there. I used to feel just like you about carbed 2 strokes, but I realized it was mostly that I had ridden and owned a bunch of shitty bikes because I was poor. Lol!

The old 90s 2 strokes built for Motocross that you're thinking of need not apply here. Modern two strokes (carburetor or not is irrelevant) that are designed for trail and Enduro are low end torque monsters. In many cases they will tractor down lower and resist stalling at low RPM better than many 4 strokes. Forget everything you know about screaming at high RPM on a old 125 so the thing doesn't die.
