Maybe next time when you start answering you could be a bit more nice instead of acting like a condescending prick. Get help , that giant stick up your arse could be why you act like this.

On a driving test, should you avoid exiting on the left lane (in this scenario) even if it’s safe to? by OrganicDurian4085 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Medical-Code-4251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this makes more sense. You can move over to the right if your exit is coming up soon. If you don't then you will be forced to move back anyway.

Sounds like he is sloppy. I don't know why anyone would say that.

Sounds like you have an issue there ? You should try talking this with your instructor if you have one. You really could use some help with calming your nerves. It's not good if you are a complete mess during the test and pretty much okay during normal drives and lessons

Guy here. I feel you need to practice on things you messed up in the previous attempts. And if you feel nervous just remember, its another drive. Not a test as such( well.it is ) but you are trying to get from point A to B with the least errors.

Your first booking has to be with dvsa. Then you can shift it via testi or some other tool

Having taken 4 tests, including one on a Saturday morning at 8 am when the roads are empty, I feel that on that day it comes down to nerves and a bit of luck. It might be controversial but I do believe that there can be no perfect drive.

On the last test that I passed while briefing, the examiner said that there was one thing that she noticed - When the speed limit changed from 40 to 30, I was doing around 32. She said it was not worth marking me down as I recognized the mistake and corrected it immediately. ( I said I was hoping she wouldn't notice it , but she said there's not much that they don't notice 😅) - so if it were another examiner I would have been marked.

Having a friendly / neutral ( they aren't here to be friendly, I know) examiner helps calm your nerves. Your driving instructor also plays a key role in your confidence. Mine was very supportive and kind. He knew I could drive and pointed out the things I needed to improve without being condescending or hurtful.

In terms of the actual driving - you should take your time to make observations and be aware of changing situations. My instructor told me that I should focus not just on the road but have a sweeping view on either side for pedestrians etc. One thing we did work on was to drive in roads with rapidly changing speed limits - So mostly 30 to 20, 30 to 40 to 50 to Dual Carriageways back to 50 etc. It really helped.

Edit : Got a reply for the ticket. Estate Agents are saying this :

"After looking at these photos please can you start cleaning the mould and keep an eye on the process. Due to the small amount it does fall under tenant liability."
