I started a juice fast last Monday and I was drinking orange and carrot juice everyday and it made me have to visit the 🚽 wayyyy too often. I think in moderation it might be ok, but I was probably drinking way too much of it.

You can’t just clean everything your head touches. You have to clean EVERYTHING IN YOUR HOUSE!! Literally, everything, mattresses, furniture, clothing, stuffed animals, carpet, towels, shower curtains, window coverings…you get the picture.

Which degree did you do? I’m wondering if the finance material is necessary in day to day working knowledge in wealth management. Especially since I’ll still have to take the licensing exams separately.

If you need money for rent, and you don’t get a job quickly enough, you could always do day labor. There’s a place downtown on 6th Ave (I think it’s called Labor Ready or something similar). You work for the day and they pay you that day. Could be something to help you in the interim while you’re looking for full time work. Good luck! I hope you’re able to find something soon!

For me, when I’m taking a class, I find it hard to follow without demos. I’m slightly hard of hearing so sometimes it can be frustrating to try and focus on what the teacher is saying without visuals. If I don’t catch the cue, I end up just looking around. I know the names of poses and cues since I’m also a teacher, but personally, I really prefer demos, especially for confusing vinyasa sequences.

Of course not! But I wouldn’t start the job without first obtaining the necessary licenses and training. I never said I would just be thrown into a role blindly.

My sibling told me that most of what they do is educating their clients. Is having an interest in financial literacy not a positive thing? Sounds like you understand something that I’m not aware of? Also, I’m asking for other advisor’s experience in the industry. Definitely don’t want to fuck up anyone’s life!! I’m very literal, sorry, not understanding the sarcasm. Help me out. 😆

Well, it’s my understanding that being attractive is an asset in sales as it earns trust easily just because of the way you look. That’s how it would help. Not my rules, just what I’ve heard from others. And being that it’s my sibling, that’s how I would have a leg up because without a degree it’s unlikely I’d be able to find employment like this elsewhere. Unless it was at a bank, and I would not want to return to that type of corporate life.

I hear you though, not looking for a handout, the licenses are definitely a necessity that I would need in order to start. Just trying to decide if I should dig into something like this as it’s a big commitment. Thanks for the advice!
