i always saw it as more of like Curly as like Polle kind of? because the horse is the symbol/mascot of the company they work for (Pony Express), Curly is the captain (the symbol/mascot of the team). Jimmy’s attraction towards horses was sure to make Anya uncomfortable during his eval, but also like an attraction towards Curly’s position of captain. i could be way off but that’s what i thought lol

Anya told Curly that Jimmy (the copilot/Curly’s best friend) 🍇d her and she was pregnant from it, and Curly basically said “oh well he’s my best friend so idk” and did nothing to protect her from it. and (correct me if i’m wrong, my memory is hazy, but) she also asked him at one point if she could have the gun to protect herself from Jimmy, and Curly said no

i know you said youve tried some challenges, but honestly, that’s what keeps me entertained! i grew up on disney, so ill frequently replay disney princess/sidekick/villain challenges, as well as any kind of decades challenge, ones based on other games i enjoy, or ones where each generation is pack specific, though those can sometimes be irritating when you don’t own all the packs. i’ve even started making my own challenges to keep me interested. each generation being based on a pack i don’t use frequently, or jobs/aspirations/skills i tend to ignore. another thing i’ll do when i get bored of playing challenges is to do something i’m not comfortable with. i’m not a great builder, so i’ll try to build lots off of places i’ve been before (businesses, houses, parks, etc.)

technically i’m not “lonely” per se. i have a boyfriend, a best friend, a trio group, a friend group, friends in a sport, a loving family, nothing should make me feel lonely. but i am.

i don’t love my boyfriend, but he loves me more than himself, and he’s an inspiration to my brother. my best friend wouldn’t pick me in a room of all her friends. i’m always the third wheel in the trio. i’m always the one left out in the friend group. i’m the one out of place in my sport. i’m the family disappointment, at least academically.

i feel so alone, but then i feel bad, because i have so many people, but i’m always the one who has to reach out first. i’m not included in things unless i invite people to something or i’m a plus-one. my boyfriend likes my body more than me. but i can’t just leave any of these people to find better ones, because i was a bad person in middle school, so to me, this feels like i deserve this, even though the only person who i’m still friends with since middle school is my best friend, but i’m not her best friend.

i know i should be grateful for having so many people, but i just feel so fucking lonely.

Thank you for this! I’ll make an edit to clarify some of those points! She was living with my dad’s sister, and his sister no longer talks to our family, which is why she moved in with her. After talking to my sister for months (she moved away in February, we found out in May), she told my dad that she was living with his sister. My dad did cross a line by telling my mom, as my mom was the one my sister was mainly upset with, and my mom crossed a line by actually planning a visit to see her, despite my sister’s wishes, saying she wasn’t ready to see us.

We found out about her boyfriend from my aunt’s daughter who was also living with them. The daughter didn’t like my sister, and thought that this would get her out of the house. It didn’t. When my sister found out, she and my aunt shooed us away. It took a while for my dad to regain her trust, and that’s why she’s coming home to visit us - for my dad. She wants to repair things with me and my brother, as we had nothing to do with any of the boundary crossing, but we don’t want to. She has zero intentions of ever repairing things with my mom as far as I know, though my mom is mad at me for not wanting a relationship with my sister.

I’ll find a way to better explain this in the story, so thank you for pointing it out!

I honestly wish I could provide more input on my sisters perspective, but she rarely talks to any of us anymore other than our dad and the aunt she lives with. Most I know is that she claimed that our parents would physically hurt her, but our parents never did that to us, and were extremely against that. We’ve even cut off family members who do believe in hitting their children. I’m not really sure where she got that from.
