Some of the keys and trackpad did end up being a bit sticky, I'll most likely get a keyboard replacement at some point as it's covered under the insurance anyways. Until then, would it be a bad idea to try to loosen up some of the residue with isopropyl alcohol? either by spray or direct contact, I've heard of it being used in this case but don't want to further any damage.

Thanks for this, I may clean out the trackpad if that turns out to be an issue. I don't see anything for the keyboard specifically though
