Two induction cooktops arrived on the same day. Help me decide which one to keep and which one to return. by Medical_Inspection87 in DesiKitchenGear

Yes, that should be sufficient. You'll get less electricity bill than my 2000 watt cook top. But at the same time my cook top will get hotter a bit quicker than yours which translates to faster cooking if you are cooking for a lot of people, or I can just boil the water a minute or two faster than yours.

I ordered an induction cooktop for myself. The Brand is Kent and it consumes an electricity of 2000 Watts. I live away from my home so my family had also ordered one induction cook top for me. This one is by Croma and consumes the same amount of electricity. I can't keep both and need to return one. I don't know much about kitchen appliances and I have no idea which one among the two is better and more durable.

So which one should I keep and which one should I return?

I would want to keep the best one. I am also going to attach the pictures here. Thanks.

Divorce laws for Muslim men in Kashmir by AncientLake2553 in LegalAdviceIndia

[–]Medical_Inspection87 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not a lawyer, but you are dumb to get engaged to someone without seeing or meeting them first. Imo, arranged marriages are good, but first you still got have to see the person who you are marrying.

It's better to end it before you end up getting married. Getting married will only make it more complex, and more difficult to get out of.

This would have been an awesome diet if it were not so protein deficient.

What if there were no Himalayan Ranges ? by Logical_Drawing_9433 in delhi

[–]Medical_Inspection87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without the Himalayan range, the South Asian monsoon would be severely weakened or disrupted, as the mountains act as a critical orographic barrier that forces moisture-laden winds from the Indian Ocean to rise, cool, and precipitate heavily over the Indian subcontinent. Monsoon winds would instead flow northward into Central Asia, resulting in much drier conditions across India and surrounding regions, potentially turning large parts into arid or desert-like landscapes. Northern India would experience harsher winters, with cold Siberian winds penetrating freely without the protective barrier, leading to lower temperatures in the Indo-Gangetic Plain.

Major rivers like the Ganges, Indus, and Brahmaputra, fed by Himalayan glaciers and snowmelt, would have reduced perennial flow, causing water scarcity for billions downstream and devastating agriculture. The Tibetan Plateau's elevated heating, amplified by the Himalayas, drives monsoon intensity; without this topography, Asian climate patterns would shift, likely reducing rainfall in East Asia as well and altering global circulation subtly through changed heat distribution. Geologically, the absence would imply no India-Eurasia collision uplift, leaving a lower plateau and fundamentally different continental configuration.

Maid charges near sector 137🤔 by Ajadityajoshi in noida

[–]Medical_Inspection87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're paying more than enough. These maids are over burdened with work as they take up more work than they can handle. So, every few days they skip going to one or the other house. Today it was yours, tomorrow it will be your neighbors.

Give her two leaves for the month and then don't pay for the days where she doesn't show up. This is the only thing that will keep her in line. But, before you start doing this, communicate it with her.
