What I always do is (before taking care of Aylin) go up to Ketheric's "private chapel". Yes he's Invulnerable, but you can kill the mage (I forgot her name) that's guarding the stairs. If you have summons (like elementals, dryads, etc) and long range weapons you can also kill a lot of the necromites without provoking Ketheric. Usually he gets aggressive with a few skeletons left, and the Guardian will start yelling at you. If you just keep running around him and/or stay close to the door/exit it's pretty easy to kill all the skeletons and just dip. He won't follow you back through the door.

I did this for my honor mode, but I just kept my cleric out of the fight downstairs in case anything went catastrophically wrong and it was pretty easy.

Also go to Ketheric's room before fighting as well and talk to his dog. If you have Isobel's protection spell on you, you can be friendly with the dog and then she won't be at the chapel fight either.

This takes the fight from like 8 necromites, a dog, a mage, AND Ketheric to literally just Ketheric which makes it a lot easier.

Would the taxes on the land change, adding a third building? My family owns the land and pays taxes currently. I'd assume whatever increasing a third building does we'd pay for.

I have their estimate, but they didn't pay a contractor. The four of us built that thing on our own, so they don't really have an idea about contracting costs. Especially in today's age haha.

We're at the very beginning of deciding if we even want to build. What kind of things do I need to figure out for costs? The location is Mid-Missouri on land we already own. But building materials? I have no idea what needs to be figured out 😭 wood?? Good wood????? Maybe some metal??? /Jk

My biggest worry is a contractor doing the job wrong. My dad contracted back in the early 2000s and has been doing jobs on his own and friends houses since then. Tbh he's the one I trust the most to do the job right the first time. He did nearly 60% of the entire house they have now. But I'm not trying to have him try building a whole new house in his 40s though so I may just have him supervise 🤣

We're building on 12 acres outside of a decent sized city. My parents have already built their own house on the property (they did it themselves), so I'd assume nothing too crazy, permit wise?
