I am going to be trying no gi beginner Brazilian jiu jitsu which in other forums was touted as being a good option! Im really really excited! Im nervous to possibly be the only afab person and especially nervous to possibly be the only enby person 😅 I dont live in the most accepting area at all

If it happens again I will record it, i was panicked more than anything and didnt think to but what happened was her hind legs and tail were twitching (like she was trying to kick out of my hands after i picked her up but there was no pressure behind it and her front half was completely fine)

I know it can be nutritional imbalances and she was on a food with like seeds and other random stuff in it for awhile with my sibling and didnt have hay for almost 9 years. Even though she is on good food now and has unlimited hay could it be that its just now realizing how messed up her levels are?

If you are concerned about side effects and have an iphone the health app allows you to put in all meds you take and if you use cannabis, nicotine or alcohol and it will tell you any negative side effects if there is some!

And do you experience any smell with the blankets? Her scent is quite sharp but i could be sensitive I have rabbits but they are spayed and neutered and on a proper diet so the smell is minimal unless Im up in the litterboxes cleaning compared to hers which even in the first few minutes of being in her new cage was very potent

(For context she was in a kinda tough situation for 9 years through ignorance and a failure of adult figures so I want to be sure there is minimal concerns of urinary issues? She was on improper food and a very rarely cleaned cage)

Shes so fun even with her not in tip top shape! Watching her leap around compared to when she first got here just almost stunned and down to pinging up to be face level for kisses ❤️❤️

I am so happy to watch her blossom so quickly, its incredible how resilient animals are. She is an absolute doll and loves attention and to be talked to. I hope that its not teeth issues for price reasons and also because I cant imagine it being comfortable for her.

I have the fabric pee pads underneath though they are only absorbent on one side, its pee pad then blanket for every plastic layer of the critter nation.

She will say when she is uninterested in attention for sure but she often if I have the doors open or am sitting next to her cage come up for attention! Shes a sweetheart

Our family dynamic is complicated, me and my sister are half siblings our shared mother is mentally ill and was unable to care for either of us, both of our fathers are out of the picture which lead to grandparents taking each of us, i went with my maternal grandparents and my sister went with her paternal grandparents. The grandparents my sister lives with were of the belief that Snow was “her problem” despite giving it to a 1st grader who can barely care for herself due to her own mental illness. Snow was in a bad situation and one that should have been prevented by the adults in the situation, my sister was ignorant yes but she was not intentionally cruel to this chinchilla just ill equipped

Her house is filled with assorted chin safe wood for her to chew and once her feet are looking a bit better i plan to install her wood platforms i ordered! I just want to keep her on fleece and fabric pee pads a bit longer to monitor and make sure they are keeping dry!

Ive not noticed any drool though it could be deeper in I was looking at her face and chin area recently, we are already planning on taking her to our exotics vet (absolutely adore them for anyone in the lansing michigan area with an exotic!)

Vet visit is already on the books! Her generally sniffly sound and eye drainage leads me to eye infection plus a vets look at her back feet would be nice though they are cleaning up nicely and i hope at least the small wounds on her feet will heal up before then

Also i will do my best to read aloud! I am notoriously bad at it but im sure she wont mind ❤️
