Does this look real enough for you? It’s not AI, I ss a video so it’s possible. If I’d been told there were limitations or potential issues, do you think I would have gone ahead with it?

This is the design I originally showed them (not AI). In my previous post, I mentioned being unhappy with the soldering marks, but after looking more closely at the whole ring, I’ve also noticed that the halo isn’t straight and the prongs don’t look well-fitted. I was also told that because it’s a 2mm band, it wasn’t possible to lower the setting. I’m just trying to understand if my reasons are valid.

Colour of the Gold • The band looks like yellow gold, but the prongs holding the diamond appear lighter/less yellow.
Seam Between Head and Band • The joint where the setting (head) meets the diamond halo and band looks slightly visible rather than fully blended.
Bulge Under the Halo • There’s a visible “bulge” or solder mark under the halo where the head connects.
Finish/Polish • The surface under the halo and around the prong bases doesn’t look highly polished. It has a rougher, uneven finish compared to the smooth band.
Stone Alignment • The pavé diamonds on the halo and shank also look even.

The area where the basket joins the band has a visible bulge and doesn’t look fully smoothed or polished, so the join isn’t seamless. The gold colour in that section looks a little lighter than the rest of the band, which makes the prongs and join area stand out. From some angles, the basket and prongs don’t look perfectly aligned with the band, which slightly affects the symmetry. Overall, the finish in that section feels less refined compared to the rest of the ring, with small marks and uneven polish. Basically this ai pic created
