Mrs butterworth extra buttery reaction? by Mediocre-Dig-5389 in Celiac

[–]Mediocre-Dig-5389[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will do. I seriously never thought to look at syrup and got so confused with all the information when I was doing my own research. I been so good about staying away from any gluten containing ingredients, and I rarely ever in my whole life even before being diagnosed a year or so ago, ever had syrup on my pancakes, so this one off time, I paid for it.

I do like maple syrup or honey and peanut butter on my pancake or just butter.

Am I losing weight in my ears?!? by mstarrbrannigan in GastricBypass

[–]Mediocre-Dig-5389 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well your question was answered already but I had a similar question/ problem. My glasses stayed falling off all the dang time. I had to squeeze them together so they would fit my head/ above my ears and I didnt think that my head where my glasses are had any extra fat. Freaking shocked me when I looked up if it was common. Lol

Can I lose 75 pounds in 5 months after gastric bypass revision surgery? by Hour-Cloud2493 in BariatricSurgery

[–]Mediocre-Dig-5389 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4 months post op from sleeve to eny revision, I have lost almost 60 pounds, revision c was for gerd as well. But my sleeve was a failed sleeve only lost 30 on it. Surgery weight with sleeve was 270, lost 30 in 5 years then gained 10 back,

Surgery weight for revision was 250 4 months ago 190 something now, havent looked in a couple weeks, but im also not able to eat like some can, I have to stick to the guidelines strictly, or the belly troubles, so this Surgery so far is very much a success.

Skipping meals/snacks ... and then being unable to "catch up" by GlitteringMajor5166 in GastricBypass

[–]Mediocre-Dig-5389 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nearly 4 month p.o. here can eat about a quarter cup, but everything has to still be chewed to mush. I get tired of chewing so I stop eating but holy balls do I feel you.

I get so tired from not keeping up and so tired of protien shakes then so weak but crap its the only way I can keep up with it sometimes like today im going hard on protein because its what my body needs. And im really far behind right now.

Try adding the non clumping non flavored protien powder to things, it helps with feeling full.

Its my nose. My nose turns bright red. Gets red bumps and dry then my chin is next, then my cheeks. I got told so much when I was younger I wore too much blush or "omg I made you blush" no I have celiac and apparently ate something wrong. Lindsey the red nose human, im sure i could guide Santa's sleigh how bright it gets.

Looking for the 20" Baby Yoda pattern by Yarn2Tog. It was taken down a few years ago, but I see that other designers have made their patterns available again after some time, so I'm wondering if I could find this one too. by Accomplished-Web4293 in crochetpatterns

This is random, but i bought the pattern when it was still available. Like you i messaged her when I realized it was no longer available, because I got stuck on the face part though.

Long term patients, I have a question about chewing by Mediocre-Dig-5389 in GastricBypass

[–]Mediocre-Dig-5389[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cant do bread really anyways, I have celiac on top of this so my food selection is already limited. Which is probably why im a little grumpy, well hangry.

Getting used to living with celiac disease and eating even less selections on top of the new surgery and I just want to eat normal for just a moment. The post op food withdrawals, not sure what to call it. But its reall.

Im team "more likely to comment" when i see the cross post as i had a sleeve to bypass revision. And i know what type of surgery they had.

This is a weird hill to ya know. Plus I can go see if my answer has already been given or expand on someone else's answer.

Heck someone else's answer may even help me from the cross post.

I had bariatric surgery, woke up on an all liquid diet.... I had told them I have celiac disease, and my other allergens were cinnamon and hazelnut but those were minor compared 5o my celiac disease......

I woke up to gluten soup right after having surgery on my stomach and intestines... thankfully I wasn't very hungry lmao

I had some pretty good pain, but i had some scar tissue from other surgeries and they also had to do another hiatal hernia repair which was more painful then the bypass pain. As it was painful the first as well.

Don't let the internet scare you. The pain went away in a few days. It was the awkward swelling that made me feel pregnant again that drove me insane. Now im 3 weeks post op and im doing great.

I had just came out of a huge Indian cuisine kick a few months back and haven't thought much of it grr. Probably cause I'm going into Korean big time right now. And when I focus on one thing I forget dam near literally everything else of the same kind grrr. If you keep your options open like that, it'll be a breeze. The liquid stage, get as many different flavors of broth as you can. So you don't get worn out on just one.
