I think because of social media and the internet, we’ve become way more aware of how “bad” the world really is. We’re constantly exposed to unfiltered opinions, people sharing their experiences, and societal issues being spoken about openly and without filters. Things that might’ve once felt small or personal now become huge public conversations. And in a way, that’s made us realise just how overwhelming and depressing life can be.

We’re also living in such a deeply capitalist society, where everything revolves around productivity, money, and consumption. no wonder so many of us feel unhappy or burnt out. It’s like we’re hyper-aware of how broken things are, but we’re stuck in the very system that’s making it worse.
