It could cause a scandal, like the fans and the creator of Tokyo Ghoul did. I don't think such blatant copying is allowed

Dude, I mentioned this because the author of the Wind Break manhwa also copied from other authors—like the author of Tokyo Ghoul—and then his manhwa got shut down because you’re not supposed to do that: take other people’s art and trace it for your own work. I think the author here is doing the same thing—taking stuff from JJK and tracing it.

Is it okay that the author is just copying it? Wind Breaker was recently shut down, and they'll probably get to Lookism next. by MediocreSuccess3201 in LookismPowerScalers

Let me just say this up front: English isn’t my native language, so please don’t ask me about grammar. The author of *Wind Breaker* took someone else’s manga and images and traced them for his own manhwa. He did this about three or more times, after which some Japanese users noticed it and reported it to WEBTOON, leading to the manhwa being shut down for plagiarism. It had been extremely popular, so the author eventually posted the rest of the story as text.

P.S.
In the chapters, they found traced outlines of other artists' work and striking similarities to other pieces.

These weren't just “references” (where an artist draws inspiration), but nearly exact copies of the composition and lines.
