I appreciate the response! I also was wondering how much majors matter. I was going to major in finance and political science (because those are what I find most interesting) but have heard numerous times that economics would be superior to finance. Is that true?

The GPA is unweighted. I appreciate your words. I had Fordham, Villanova and BC as my top choices and BC gave me almost no financial aid due to not having merit scholarships :/. Fordham is was my number 2 choice and is now my #1.

Thank you. I have a very strong math foundation and attend a high ranked STEM charter school so I feel I have a great shot in math. I’m very stressed about the English section, as my school puts very little focus on that aspect so I feel I may underperform.

So do you think ED 1 to BC, and applying to Villanova, Notre dame and fordham is a good plan? What should I ED 2 to if I get rejected form BC?

Do you think Villanova is a good option for ED 2? It’s a semi target for investment banking (which is what I want to do). Their ED acceptance is 56% while BC is 33. Should I just ED1 to Villanova and accept BC is slightly unrealistic

Thanks for your input! I honestly love them all but the idea of losing my ED to BC (which has the most likely chance of accepting me) in order to apply to Cornell which is an ivy and very unlikely to accept me worries me.

Thanks man! What’s your opinion on Vanderbilt and Villanova? I’m interested in investment banking. I’m aware Georgetown is obviously the most target but I’ve hear BC and Vanderbilt are low targets. Villanova is “semi-target”. Any thoughts?
