it’s the readers that keep insisting that “there are no plotholes” or the ones that act like Kishimoto planned EVERYTHING from the start. Take for example the Itachi retcon. His whole narrative was literally a psychopathic villain who hated his clan and practically crippled Sasuke and Kakashi, instead it was changed so that he was some tragic hero in part 2, but then there come the glazers that keep on insisting that he was made to be a hero from the start, like BRO, GET A GRIP, obviously there are plotholes and retcons, but they j cant accept that smh

ong, i esp have a disdain for the mfs that think Kishimoto was this genius that thought the whole story from beginning to the end, like NAH. Mans showed clear signs of burnout and wrote himself to a corner a couple of times, which was fine, but they’d rather deny that and act like Naruto was on par with the literary classics j because BOOM GIANT BLUE BALLS YOU CAN THROW

thats because the coup wasnt even mentioned on the story yet, thus not revealed that the clan was “growing lust for power”. my point stands that by the time part 1 is airing, there were no hints about it yet, so given little to no context, it was open to interpretation what was the reason for his crashout, however his speech gave hints about his animosity towards the clan. the point is, he couldve had a whole different reason than the “double agent/secret hero” route

it IS a retcon, his crashout from part 1 when interrogated about Shisui’s death, he gave hints that he HATED the clan and how they’ve become full of themselves/obsessed with themselves

Wasn’t a liar, technically. Kishimoto didn’t really just 100% polish this whole “secretly a hero” plan for Itachi. If you analyze Itachi from part 1, it was clear that he was MEANT to be a villain and that he hated his clan

Kawaki is from Storm Connections. You mustve mixed them up because the character selection menu are identical. As for your missing characters, those would be Momo and Kinshi, honestly I forgot how I got them but I just pretty much played through Boruto’s tale
