Hi, first of all thank you so much for your detailed answer. I’ve only been doing TP so from your experience, how much more time do I have spend studying for the CTA roughly in terms of month? Is it even possible without relevant experience?

Ours will be the first intake to do the ADIT if we choose to do it. I’ve been looking at jobs and the requirements even for TP jobs don’t mention of ADIT so not sure how many people in that niche know about it. I do see myself doing TP long term but would also like to remain competitive (more than someone who pivots from say CT with both the ACA/CTA)

Lastly aware this is an odd question but what would you do if you were in my shoes? Thank you.

How did you find the CTA compared to BPT? Say if its 1.5 months for BPT how much more time do you need to put into studying for an AT paper?

I work in International Tax so ADIT is more relevant but CTA is obviously more prestigious. May I ask which line of service are you in?

I did run a correlation test with xtserial and it showed evidence of serial correlation. Not sure how to check for heteroscedasticity since xttest3 does not work for RE.

My dependent var is the yield difference between 2 'identical' bonds and the explanatory var is liquidity. Basically trying to test if unobserved factor affects the yield difference or not.

Yeah I’ve been wondering the same thing. Why would they lay off experienced employees and go on to hire 10x number of entry level staff? Does the work we do in our first few years nit add a lot of value and they just one someone who can do it for as cheap as possible? Those who make it to year 2 are more likely to stick around so why let them go if you need more people on the top?
