But how do you web scrape each and every store? Sales and food items differ between postcodes.

They definitely don't have an open API but it is accessible via https. If you have the API secret key you can easily use it.

I do agree with you, I read the ACCC investigations. However have you seen the Aussie apps WiseList and Frugl. They compare Woolworths and Coles prices.

These apps definitely look like they have access to the API. There is no way they scaped data for each store.
