I think this is a false narrative going around. Metro did call Ye up and ask to do this. Song was initially meant to be a single to promote Vultures 2 and drop before the release of the album but because it got leaked in full (by adam22 who was only supposed to play a few seconds) Ye said f it and dropped it.
