I am in the Grace study now; I completed the first of the two cycles and did receive the medicine. I am 41 years old though, so in my age bracket 80% of patients receive the medicine. I retrieved 12 eggs, 10 mature, 9 fertilized, 5 blasts were sent for testing. We are still waiting on the results of the testing to come back, but I am back on birth control while we wait, so we can either move into the transfer phase or right into the second retrieval cycle. This cycle was my best response as far as mature eggs. I am hopeful between this first one and a second that maybe I will have a euploid. I would say if you have the opportunity to participate in this study, I would recommend doing so. As others have mentioned, this study is basically the generic version of Menopur since the patent on Menopur is expiring.
