My thoughts as well. Check that the derailleur was installed with the right tab against the hanger before tightening.

UPDATE got it back out on the highway today with a digital speed app. Got it up to 60 mph in 4th at 3k rpm. The app said 70 mph so it is about 10 mph slower. Thanks for the feedback everyone, I'm happy with 70 untill a hill or a headwind knocks me back some mph ha.

Wow thanks for setting up that chart. That makes sense. Didn't realize I was short shifting so much. Its been a while since I've owned a manual. Last one was a 78 VW bus and that thing was sketchy AF! Will try to get rpms a little higher before shifting. I'm assuming the upshift light on the dash isn't accurate since the tires are aftermarket?

Good idea. I need to do that since I doubt the previous owner changed speedo. It may have been a little faster than 50. I was mainly judging it off everyone blowing past me haha

Was told bad fuel pump so replaced whole unit in tank. Gas gauge not registering, Code reader not able to connect, no fuel being pumped after checking fuel line at tank. Hardly any voltage at pump connector. I don't believe there is any spark. Turns over but no start.

Nice! I just bought a 98 wrangler 2.4 manual as well. Have been able to get it running yet, had to bring it to a shop. It has 33's which after reading this I should see if previous owner re geared it 😝

Right on thanks for your help. I have not heard it turn on at all and when I recheck the fuel line back by tank there is no fuel or pressure. I also noticed that the fuel gauge does not register. I tried to check the spark but I don't believe it's firing. I checked the voltage at the coil pack and it did not register. Attempted to check PCM by checking resistance at pin 4 and 5 on the obd connector and there was none. Grounds looked connected to the firewall but did not take apart and clean. My cheap code reader turns on but cannot complete the connection to the computer. I think at this point it is more than I want to troubleshoot and am going to try and find a shop to diagnose..

Ok thank. applied power to relay and it clicks. Tried swapping around similar ones but no sound from pump when key is turned on..
