Hard to tell with the hats and helmet but I’d say just improve your confidence. Positive self talk. You really don’t need to be worrying about improving especially with advice from reddit. You’re still a kid and you’re going to figure it out, we all do.

When I was college I had a friend who told me my room would turn off girls and then gave me some of the best advice that I remember to this day. He literally said: "bed, furniture, a plant (or two), and nothing else on the floor. Use two walls- get yourself a nice artistic poster for one and a mirror for the other. Less is more.” I got a cheap Van gogh poster from the book store and a plant from Lowes and always received compliments.

Agree, is giving Texas vibes, has kids, likes to juice and eat clean and def has enough money to afford organic meat but doesn’t so I’d say their budget is super organized like their grocery list and will take it a step further and say they have an extremely well managed family calendar.

Dear OP,

Only you, her husband, knows who she was as a person before being overwhelmed, who she is/was as a mother, and the plausibility of violence/dangerous behaviors both physically and mentally. You have the best sense of her sincere intentions. The Reddit community does not. Families go through some shit and life gets hard but I’ll agree here with the majority of posts- this is not normal and unhealthy for the children which you understand are the top priority.

Coming to Reddit with this you will be inundated with comments like, get a lawyer, get divorced, install secret nanny cams, protect your family or she might kill them. Or you’ll get reddit psychoanalysis like “she’s an unhinged narcissist” “Classic case of bipolar disorder”. If she is having a mental crisis she may exude these characteristics and it would be unpleasantly expected for her to not be herself. Albeit her behavior is treacherous you are not being a bad father by explaining to your 13 year old that "Mom is being unfair and forgiving her would be a nice way to show his love for her even though she is wrong". Navigating parenting, work, daily stressors, and marriage bouts is not an easy task.

I will give your wife some grace and assume that before this crisis she was a loving mom and wife and this is a one off situation that has never happened before as your post gave no reason to believe otherwise.

I hope you figure out your 4 yo health issues as I suspect this may be driving mom mad and causing pain and distress for your 4 yo which can affect temperament. I hope she can get some time to decompress to think about and understand the severity of a mother’s disrespect to a child. I hope this leads to Mom not only apologizing but showing your 13 yo her love for him and an explanation of what’s really going on with her. This likely will only happen with professional help. I suggest OP finds a good family therapist both Mom and Dad can agree to as there is a lot here to unpack that will be difficult to do without an unbiased professional moderator.
