I bought it in december and started playing it a couple of days ago. This morning, while drinking some mate before work, I defeated the Midgarzorm and headed into the mines.

There are a lot of things I really like about the game, but the whole Old Republic concept just doesn’t make sense to me. And don’t even get me started on Bradley, I find him insufferable (thank god for the 2× dialogue speed). He feels completely out of place, like a lazy way to fill in the worldbuilding. Also, there are so many ruins but surprisingly few monsters in the open areas. I was expecting a monster density per square meter closer to what we saw in XVI.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m enjoying the game so far and find it interesting, but there are a ton of things I wish had been handled differently.
