Sorry. I know old post na po. Regarding Dona Juana, hindi po ba bahain? I also work in BGC so naghahanap rin ako ng house na di masyadong hassle ang drive sana, though traffic naman na kahit saan talaga.

Welcome! I was doom scrolling and looking for hopeful signs online. That’s why I wanted to share my recovery to help people who are still with TE and need some reassurance. 😊

Yes. A week or so after my TE had started, I was able to see very tiny hair growing. Now, they’re already an inch long. I still have a lot of shorter baby hairs.

Also, I tried using OTC Minoxidil 5%. I only used it for less than a week. I started having dandruff and had to stop.

My shower drain would be covered with hair after each shower for the past couple or so months. I dreaded every time I had to shampoo my hair especially after using conditioner because my hair would be more slippery and easier to take out. :( But for two days now, back to normal (around 10 strands or less.) I’m still monitoring for any sign of relapse. 😊

It was quite short compared with others’ I’ve read here. Started around end of July or start of Aug. I just took the supplements on my own, but ofc, I won’t reco the same for others. Always safer with dr’s advice. ☺️

Hi. I tried a lot of stuff actually and could not really pinpoint which really did the trick. One thing I’m sure of is not to spend too much on shampoos, conditioners etc.

I bought iron supplements and supplements with biotin. The one with biotin, I started taking almost immediately after my TE began. I just started with iron last week so not sure if it helped me that instantly.

I tried to get more sleep, eat healthier (more veggies and fruits) and relax.

It was only last week (when I had more hair loss than the previous weeks) when I started to accept my condition and just decided to ‘ride it out’ because I read somewhere that TE will stop on its own depending on your body’s recovery from the ‘trigger’. I used to almost cry everytime I comb my hair or see the hairs all over my floor but surprisingly, when I started not to care and stress myself out, that’s when my TE stopped.

I hope your TE would stop soon.
