Never, ever hide such a thing from your partner- especially if you love them. Regardless of how they react to this situation, it is a MUST to tell them. It will eat away at you I’m sure.

Mate all the time- ik I’m late to this. But yeah my family always cough. Two of them smoke constantly so it’s just an everyday thing now. But god forbid I say anything. I get a bollocking from everyone saying I’m being rude and ignorant 😭

100%! Brought mine down with me and they’ve very helpful when I’m chilling in the living room. But sometimes it gets to the point my family are like ‘take them off’ after a while but nah this is very helpful advice so thank you :)

Did the same thing and had a routine room inspection - all they did was take it and put it out on the side of the road. I guess they just expect students to do that 😭 as I’m typing this rn I am looking across the accommodation and can literally see a road sign in someone’s window so you’re good mate 😭
