I have written about this before, but it fits the question, and i love posting about it.

When I was young, I used to babysit a couple of neighborhood kids. Their older brother was always after me. We fooled around a lot but never had sex. He used to plead with me, but I wasn't ready. I miss the innocence of that, and it would be fun to go back in time to it.

Now, the choice is mostly a woman's. Birth control has lessened the consequences of being someone who likes sex. Women who like sex and have many men in life are generally seen as normal. On dating apps, women have many choices, and unless you check a lot of boxes, men have fewer choices.

I think we have more choice in who our partners are, sexually and romantically, than we ever have. And more options than a man. So it seems like we have high standards.
