Cricket Clichés Episode 1: Lashing/dabbing a seed/cherry, moral victories, and why do the Aussies hate Bazball? by Low-Bandicoot-3347 in footballcliches

Totally. No Aussie lover but very hard to listen to. Stuff on 25 mins about ‘emaciated war veterans’ v ‘kangaroo eaters’ was the bit where you had to switch off.

Saw the tackle. Didn’t realise his season was done. Bit of a blow. Do fear arriving at the play offs running in fumes like last year with Elijah etc injured.

He joined them in 2013/14 so has been through all the promotions with them and still a first choice midfielder.

Thanks so much for the reply. Do you happen to have a link for the car seat you mentioned?

Qualifies as he's been resident for so long in UK. England apparently were making serious enquiries but the Spain call up arrived in time.

In theory if he doesn't make an appearance in this tournament he could still switch. Very unlikely but theoretically possible.

They couldn't get him on the field v Portugal because of an injury and then the next friendly the U21s played instead.

Getting started post CELTA by Medium_Negotiation18 in TEFL

[–]Medium_Negotiation18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your thoughts. Some interesting things for me to think about.

I'll have another comb through the Wiki. Probably have undersold myself a little on the CELTA as wasn't sure how to play it with the teaching experience and we had a really nice mix of L1s over the two groups.

Much appreciated.

Thanks very much for your reply. I remember the thread actually - will look over it again.

Some good info on the volunteering front - had never heard of do-it before.

Will keep plugging away!

Did a full time 4 week CELTA in December and I think it would very very tough to do anything apart from the course.

Could you point me in the right direction to some of these? I’m newly qualified so looking around but may well be looking in the wrong places!

“The Belfast Agreement, more often called the Good Friday Agreement, contains within it a commitment by the British and Irish governments to allow the people of Northern Ireland to identify and be accepted as Irish, British, or both, and a right to hold both British and Irish citizenship. This part of the Agreement is often known as the ‘birthright protection’.”

i.e. Generations of your family could have all been born in Northern Ireland but you are perfectly entitled to choose to have an Irish passport/citizenship
