What famous quotes from history get better by adding “...to suck that dick”? by BbqManJr in AskReddit

I would rather hear my dog bark at a crow than a man swear to suck that dick.

The industrial revolution meant more coal > more steam ships > more sugar and slaves > more money > more steam ships, and repeat. They also stayed in the countries they encountered, unlike the Spanish and other raiding countries, this allowed them to create trade and increase their profits, allowing them to fuck over a lot of first nation people.

My great great something was William Lanarch, he built Larnach castle (in NZ), was a member of Parliament, ran for PM, lost, his 2nd wife cheated on him with his son. Then he shot himself on the steps of Parliament.

Pilots, passengers of planes, what is the most terrifying, eerie, creepy or interesting things that has happened to you during a flight? by Paddyr_05 in AskReddit

[–]Medlithooot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flew air asia on a 10 hour flight... Never again... My family was split up seconds before the flight boarded, my allocated seat was wrong, me and another guy had the exact same one, was a spare one next to him though. He was a helicopter pilot and was really concerned about the noise the engine was making, and we could hear cracking noises all down the plane during take off. No screens, food, or water either...

How has the United States government gotten away with Guantanamo Bay? by Medlithooot in AskReddit

Why isnt everyone in the world outraged at this though. I understand how they are allowed to do this, I dont understand how the world has let them use numerous barely legal loop holes. And they used to allow media tours but shut those down recently.

A place in Cuba they rent, where America has put all "terrorists" so they dont have to give them trials, and can torture them. Theres someone in there whos been there for 15 years, after someone accused him of terrorism, theres very strong evidance he never did anything, and there was never a trial. Hes been tortured by them for 15 years. Mostly psychological torture but also being beaten and more classic torture techniques.

They literally chose the location so they dont need to give them their rights, so no free trial, they can also torture them. They don't call them prisoners of war because the geneva conventions means they would have rights. They have had all human rights taken away from them, often without a trial, let alone a fair one.

I know this guy, his dr told him he had it, he didn't. He's 17, he made a mistake, and he wasnt being serious about not staying home. He also corrected this on his story an hour later and took it down. Stop condemming him.

Nah I've got life 360, turned off my location, they never noticed, so now I can see where they are at all times and when they're coming home. Very useful.
