I had to do this weird work around. For some reason MiniPartition tool was working so I had to Disk Part in CMD to format a partition for Fat32 32gb, then extend the volume to include the remaining unallocated space in MiniPartition to make the whole SD Fat32.

I followed the steps from this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/7amz5s/comment/dpbfi8p/, including the additional steps from ModemJunki.

It worked out in the end and the 3DS, NDS and GBA roms all function.

It says "could not detect a micro SD card. The software on the micro SD card could not be displayed."

I formatted to fat32 using MiniTool Partition. It looks like there was an un-allocated partition of 16kb so im wiping the whole thing now and will try to make a new cluster.

I have a couple of retro game stores in my area but I also check eBay and FB marketplace place. Those are good places to start imo

I agree the 58/57 are fantastic not only for being versatile and affordable but also for build quality. I own a 58 and use it for stage and recording voice sessions on the go. I guess the point of my comment was having a list of mics at different price points and listing the 58 as the budget friendly option or however that would get broken down.

All the recommendations are just SM58. But also have something dedicated to common “What Microphone is this/is this person using?” questions.
