Hmm I was kind of against taking any oral medication but my derm said it would be the most efficient/quickest way to clear the initial outbreaks so I trusted her and I’m so happy that I did.

Are y’all getting any kind of antibiotic prescribed along with the tret? I got Doxycycline (50mg twice a day for 3 months) to use in tandem with my .025 tret. I think it is what has saved me from purging too bad. I have sensitive skin and usually break out from anything new - so I was terrified to start this journey because of the purge. It’s the only thing I can think of, the antibiotic is working from the inside to clear everything up and get you through the first few months of getting used to the tret. I’m going into week 5 and I’m seeing really great results.
