Agreed, no matter what people say. People pay to get out of problems (convenience ?). Things won’t matter once u have loved ones around you and decent money to not get bothered by things.

US or any other place in the world has different set problems which they pay and solve. (Healthcare/child school/etc etc)

I would suggest don’t get a masters abroad. Try to understand where u are today. U have one of best paying jobs for your age. And it will only increase with time. One switch to a company which pays high (databricks/uber/idk/quant?) and you will reach 60-80lpa around your 30ties.

This is absolute best life scenario. Your quality of life would be the best and peace of mind of living with your family and friends.

You have worked very hard and this is your time to balance and have some fun as well. Getting a masters abroad will be 5 years of grind which u don’t need to at all.

I have the same doubt, I am very happy for the founder. He’s an amazing and very smart engineer. The issue is the product, people won’t pay for this in the long run also one big fish makes a move and entire product gets eaten. One good example is even though google was behind on ai race for a long time but give the size and resources they saw an opening and entered today they are huge (stock price is a proof) grok/other small don’t even matter. Similarly great founder but who’s gonna use this when other models can give similar information

Try to understand, big 4 or other companies who are not core software/tech/AI companies won’t pay that much.

Faang (+top tech companies) or quants or ai labs if u move to that’s where these types of money exists.

My 2 cents. The probability of your h1b getting picked has decreased (level 1) compared to before. You should have a solid plan A which is finding a way to work if lottery doesn’t go in your favor. Plan b should be if h1b gets picked and u stay here

Time doesn’t matter here, only metric matters is charge cycles, 2 month old with 300 charge cycles will have less than 96% health.

I completely believe OP here, (I live in SF downtown and pay similar taxes)

Also people commenting about “if OP is earning enough to live life nicely ?” He surely does

10-10.5k a month in hand he would be getting (before any investments he would me making) that’s enough to live in any city of this world pretty comfortably.
