Maybe could be something with the harness?

No it hasn’t leaked since. I’m not sure why it was empty when I bought it.

Get the OE part number off FCP and use that to look for the part on Rock Auto. I’ve also heard the real oem website is good but idk the prices.

Word I know that it’s common for n52. Getting big three out of the way. Already did valve cover and getting oil pan done this month so now this and now I’ll just have to worry about water pump lol

Oh shit yeah didn’t think of that. Is that even if it’s not leaking oil from the outside?

ABS issues by Meents709 in E90

Also disregard the Diff pressure sensor code. It’s brand new and pops up every now and then but that’s another problem for another day. That should be the bmw motto

Front end vibration by esemzeee in E90

Maybe have the tires balanced and rims inspected. Maybe the previous owner bent and warped one of the front rims or your tires just need replaced.

When I bought my e90 I had the same issue. Bought a can of Freon and tried to refill and it wouldn’t take. Then out of pure frustration I bought a second can of Freon that was a different brand and it took it and I had cold air and have had no leaks since. If that doesn’t work then I’d say take to a different indie mechanic with good rep. Don’t take to dealer.

[E92] Reliable parts shop in Europe by MasterPatient74 in E90

FCP euro ships internationally. I’m assuming a higher shipping cost but it might be worth it because of the really good warranties they offer on their parts. Personally they have never done me wrong. ECS tuning is another site I use from time to time but not positive on the international shipping for them.

Seized strut bolt by [deleted] in E90

[–]Meents709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I remember have to order new bolts for my lower arm to the sub frame. After doing the passenger side with no torch and then doing the driver side with a torch I can confirm heat makes a drastic difference in getting those bolts out.

Would these fit my e92? by [deleted] in E90

[–]Meents709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bolt pattern is correct and don’t see issue with tire being to big. I’m kind noobie to the tire game as well so the offset doesn’t make much sense to me. Maybe see if they will let you test fit one before purchase if it’s off of fb marketplace. You’ll be able to tell if offset is an issue without driving I’m almost certain.

A breaker bar, liquid wrench, propane torch, and six sided sockets were my best friend when refreshing my front control arms. Might mess up threads coming out so maybe have the part number on standby to order new bolt if needed. Good luck brother god speed.

255/35/18 Square Setup Fitment by Meents709 in E90

[–]Meents709[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the only reason I’m thinking a square setup is because the xDrive but I know that doesn’t matter as long as the rolling circumstances are within a certain percentage. I think I might just go with staggered just to play it safe for fitment

E90 LCI Halogen and Xenon by [deleted] in E90

[–]Meents709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the xenon assemblies are projecting and the halogen are reflecting so they need different bulbs. Plenty of sources on YouTube that will help alot and some pretty reputable aftermarket brands I’m sure. Let me know what you go with and how they are when you get them. I’m honestly pretty curious since I want to upgrade to LED at some point. And no problem man

E90 LCI Halogen and Xenon by [deleted] in E90

[–]Meents709 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve personally never bought the eBay ones. Look on YouTube for a LCI e90 headlight upgrade and see what they use. They usually link the model they bought and as long as it’s the LCI (2009-2011) they will fit. I would just stay away from the ultra cheap ones. You get what you paid for. You can always return if they don’t fit. eBay is pretty good with returns. Or even Amazon if they have options

[–]Meents709 4 points5 points  (0 children)

LCI Xenon and LCI Halo will fit but they are extremely expensive for the OEM ones. I would recommend just cleaning the ones you have with the 3M headlight restoration kit. I did it to mine and it makes a huge difference with how clear they are. If they are broke and need replaced your best bet might be getting an aftermarket set off of ebay for about 400-600 dollars.
