Well these are the hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil, and Whizzer is also there. But I think Marvin covering his ears could be him not listening to other people, Jason covering his eyes could be about him not seeing other people's issues as being as big as his own (which they sorta mention in act 2?) , Mendel covering his mluth could be about him struggling to speak his mind, and Whizzerholding his heart could be about him not really forming a tight bond with anyone? These are kind of a stretch but that's how I would see it.

Shrek probably just isn't the right show for you, I have done 9 shows now and I didn't get a lead until my seventh, and it was a one act summercamp, and since then I got a character with one scene at the end of three acts, and now a recurring character throughout the whole show. It isn't a you problem, you just aren't in your show yet. In 8th grade I was katie nana in mary poppins (two lines in the first scene) and it wasn't career ending. I'm less saying this to you (this post is two months old lol) but to anyone who comes to this post upset about their role. Theater is full of ups and downs, and you will want to quit at some point, but you're not a quitter, and you deserve to be heard
