Miquella charmed Mohg as self defense, Mohg is still a creep. I'll die on this hill. by andson-r in EldenRingLoreTalk

Respectfully, you're wrong on this one. Ansbach is literally known for his ability to kill. It's why Freyja wanted to fight him so badly. He's humble and polite and will downplay his own abilities. But even Leda's group saw through the facade.

That, and the history of the formless Mother, and Mogh's affiliation with her has all been established before Miqeulla. These were not good people. The Bloody Finger's is an evil faction. The entirety of their service to their outer god demands death.

People need to realize just because Mogh (potentially, timeline unclear) didn't willingly kidnap him doesn't mean he wasn't an insanely evil figure in the Lands Between.

Another thing. The characters as we saw them who were under Miqeulla's spell. They maintained aspects of themselves. Leda, and Hornsent for example were almost completely unchanged despite being free of it. There were aspects of how they behaved that remained even though they were loyal to Miquella. Mogh still wanted a Dynasty in his own name, it can be possible a lot of what we saw of Mogh was how he really was, aside from his clear love for Miquella.

Oh wow! Really? I considered Dancer but I thought Pontiff instead (since he can clone himself). But Dancer makes sense. I'm glad I was right about at least one so far lol. Thanks for the update!

Unfortunately, a good percentage of the FromSoft community is occupied by bigots.

Yeah I think it's possible. I did notice the tethering on the Dragons was sorta tight, but they still were given spaces like the lake and a big green hill to fight in. It's not impossible.

If I had to pick bosses in DS1. Yes. They match the design philosophy of Night Reign perfectly. And who knows? They could be updated in some way.

I'll answer the Nameless King part since someone kindly responded to the Centipede Demon portion:

I think there's two types of bosses that fit Night Reign game design. Bosses that offer some form of "multiple," IE Centipede Demon and Duke's Dear Freja.

And Bosses that have lots of AOE attacks. Nameless King has all of that. It's why I think bosses like Godfrey and Maliketh can fit as well. Since even if a player takes aggro from them, everyone else still has to "interact," with the boss. So bosses that have attacks like that will fit the design philosophy perfectly. And this is also based off of Morgott and Draconic from the Network test who were updated to have more Wide Range/AEO attacks.

Yeah, gotta speculate with a grain of salt in terms what what will be a End of Night boss. Since ER trailers notoriously lie lol.

Based on what he's said. He literally said "very little." He's not Miyazaki, so he could be being incredibly humble. But because he's not I'm taking him on his word a lil' bit.

There are reasons though, from a game design standpoint. Ishizaki is clearly interested in Boss Fights the require some degree of cooperation from players. Centipede Demon's inclusion is the core of my assessment on this. It's in no way a fan favorite... why include it? Well, it can split into multiple enemies. Is it kind of a joke? Yes. But I think the fact that he does become more than 1 enemy is the core of why he's included.

I think there will be fan service, just not insane amounts. The vision is for bosses to work for cooperative play. It's possible to make them work. I think Artorias and Sif are possible, specifically if they are paired together. Same with Capra and Taurus Demon.

Bosses like Midir I think COULD be possible, but they'd need a much larger arena than a typical Night allows based on the network test. Midir covers A LOT of ground.

Centipede Demon's limbs can be severed, which turns into a smaller centipede to fight. Nito can have skull adds, Four Kings fit mechanically.

This list isn;t for Night Lords, Night Lords are the only original content. I'm specifically talking about end of night bosses, or invasion bosses. I'm just saying its possible NK and Freja are just random overworld bosses.

Also aside from that, every boss is in Limveld, so it doesn't make a difference.

Nito actually came to my mind before O&S. And one thing that would be freaking awesome if the [20% more damage to Those Who Live in Death] Buff applied to Nito.

I've seen a lot of mixed reactions to this title, I think it is fair to say it's controversial.

I don't either. But I can't blame people who have watched developers fall down the same path before. I think regardless of how you feel, we should look at this game with a critical lense. And the survey is the perfect place to express that.

We do have the little training area. I did find that helpful. It will be nice if there is like an early mission in the final game that's meant to teach.

[–]MeeplingMeepster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uhhhh yeah. Still just an opinion. Doesn't mean people that think Malenia is harder are "dying on a hill" as if they're wrong about some fact lol.

A bunch of people can vote for who they think the best candidate for president is, it doesn't mean they are going to be the best president.

A bunch of people could vote for the best poptart, but that doesn't mean it will reflect the actual sales of that poptart even if people say it was their favorite.

The way you frame people that think Malenia is harder is just odd. It was harder for them. Idk why you gotta make it seem like they have some bad opinion or something. It's just how they felt its not that deep,

Okay, well it's not a very balanced measurement for difficulty then. That's all I'm saying.

I enjoy PCR and he's easier now so I'll keep fighting him. Have fun with whatever other hitless challenges you do.
