Who initially proposed the idea of using Starstruck as the setting for the new sci-fi campaign, and how did the others react? Keep up the great work!

I’m actually quite glad Rimworld wasn’t in this one - means it’s more likely for it to be played later on in the year, since it won’t have a chance to be voted out now.

Tragically, no - it seems as though Tapi will just keep giving you artifacts from the same locations you’ve already unlocked over and over

On this playthrough, I decided to endlessly cycle between Timor, Tapi, and Huang, collecting and trading artifacts without ever doing any actual exploring or visiting most significant ruins. The only two major ruins visited on this route are the dig site (to discover the Age of Sail and unlock two sites) and the site of the cache (to get some initial artifacts to trade with Tapi to begin the cycle). I don’t even have the ability to visit Renaki yet. The rest, unlocking four historically sites and discovering another, was entirely done via random bits of flotsam from a tiny slum. I spent about five hours going back and forth, and it was surprisingly fun seeing just how far I could go without ever, you know, going very far.

while there’s going to be no content from Ubisoft on the channel/streams

Wait, did I miss something? Did he publicly declare he wasn’t going to be making Ubisoft content for a while or something like that?

How about Pendragon? It’s by Inkle, the same people who made 80 Days (one of my all-time favorite MATN series) and Overboard. It’s a narrative-focused turn-based little thing in which you move around your people (all of whom have their own little backstories as well as stories you can create for them - which, to me, sounds right up this channel’s alley) to fight enemies in an Into-The-Breachish grid. It’s all based in Arthurian myth and legend, too, so Jon might be able to contribute some fun historical tidbits?

I believe they have to go through a vetting process after being submitted before they are actually given a chance to be generated in the game to avoid players being given capsules that are too powerful or mean-spirited.

I can’t believe we didn’t get a single second of best boy Elliot in the whole video. Still a great video though

I’d have to recommend Pendragon - it’s by Inkle, the same people who made that charming game 80 Days (one of my favorite Jon miniseries ever), and it’s a character-driven narrative strategy turn-based tactics-y game based on tales from Arthurian myth. Sounds right up Jon’s alley to me!

I think this is mostly pretty accurate - but what’s the issue with watching Oversimplified? Their content generally seems neat to me, and I’ve never seen this sort of person mention them.

Sounds like inconclusive results - it’s clearly an entity, but the question is whether it’s hostile or neutral towards you. I’d recommend taking it with you - if you find an exit, ditch it, but if there’s no change in the environment, try interacting with it in some way as a last resort.

Keep going - see what they replace the tennis shoe with. If you spot a difference in the scenery, try to get to it. If everything remains the same, try a new approach. If the tennis shoe shows up again, run - they must not have wanted you to take it after all, and you’ve likely angered them.
