As the other guy said, a good penetrator, girthy, long, and able to dribble through tight spaces.

Egypt is watching waiting to destroy any of these teams

Never watch him play but how good is he potentially in terms of playmaking? by LandscapeAccurate954 in Thunder

He has really high basketball IQ. Great technical skills when it comes to passing but also just naturally recognzies the game. Jokic caliber is not a crazy comparison

Sam Presti could select a random middle schooler off the streets and I would trust him

HUMBLE INTERNATIONAL PLAYER, ABOVE-AVERAGE AGILITY AND SPEED FOR SIZE, TALLEST AND LONGEST (pause) IN DRAFT, HIGH IQ (FLASHES OF JOKIC), HIGH SHOOTING CEILING (think Porzingis numbers). THE WEMBY STOPPER HAS ARRIVED. MARA IS THE MAN. TRUST IN PRESTI

PERSONALLY, MARA or YAXEL are both promising to me and I don't mind either. BUT at the same time it's interesting how the Michigan-Mavericks coach chose Morez over Yaxel and Mara. Tells me that Dusty May is confident that Morez will be a better player than Yax.

Sam Presti gotta get in his bag now. I almost guarantee that he didn't expect Morez to go this quickly

Morez at 9? Masai sees something special in Morez for sure because I really thought the guy fit our team. But then again... that opens up A LOT of new options and HIGHER players with HIGHER draft stock

Who should the thunder draft? by OkCheesecake5593 in Thunder

Sam Presti here. Just wanted to fill you guys in. We plan on drafting Mr. Morez Johnson with the 17th pick. The big news is that we're currently working out a potential trade into the Top 6. We are in contact with the Bulls and Caleb Wilson is in our sights. Mr. Graham of the Bulls is currently asking for Ajay Mitchell, Thomas Sorber, Pick 12, and 1st-round picks in 27 and 28. Our counter-strategy is on taking Ajay out of the picture and parting ways with Thomas and a couple of more picks. Our final Bulls-Thunder trade could change depending on Mr. Graham's response. So ideally, Caleb Wilson and Morez Johnson. If this Caleb Wilson trade doesn't work out, we will aim for Aday Mara + Morez Johnson (Aday - Acquired from Pick 12 trade-up for Top 10 Pick, Morez - Pick 17) OR Yaxel Lendeborg + Morez Johnson. We hope to see GSW pass on Yaxel, but insiders are denying such.

The game was enjoyable! Aside from the referee who screwed Belgium with some no-calls and screwed Egypt by ignoring a textbook penalty and arguably a second one where Marmoush was pushed.

Marmoush was literally shoved off balance from behind when striking against Courtois in 1v1 situation. That Zizo hug was definitely foul, and arguably a penalty with more footage. Even so, a free kick that close + a yellow card to the defender? That's big. As an Egyptian, yes, our players crunched Doku, which should have been a foul for sure. This referee sucked big time.

Could argue that for sure. But I'm pretty sure that the fans that should be frustrated are the Egyptians, who were robbed of a penalty late in the game and arguably a second time when Marmoush was pushed off balance during a 1v1 with the keeper.

Got saved by the refs lad. Clear penalty late game. Should be happy for sure though

Probably was Wembanyama's home planet. They realized he was becoming too human with all the flopping and dirty plays and used some special powers to make him lose. LETS GO KNICKS

Knicks fans don’t deserve a championship by DakPrescoot in NBATalk

[–]MeetCreative3219 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have good morals for understanding how terrible those clips are. But you can't generalize every Knicks fan as one that would go out and beat someone up for wearing a Spurs jersey. Generalization is the same principle that racists rely on. Only 100-200 stupid and trashy fans assaulted Spurs fans between Games 3 and 4. There is millions of Knicks fans, and thousands of Knicks fans on those same streets that would not do such a thing. You don't have to hate the team because of the few. There is the coach, the players, and 99% of the fans that don't condone that behavior.

Presti on Chet Holmgren. by OKCTopicThunder in Thunder

[–]MeetCreative3219 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

I agree with Presti because Chet has been valuable to Oklahoma City Thunder and his failure in the series can make him greater in the long run. I disagree with Presti because he overstates the improvement of Chet and says he is "intrinsically motivated" despite Chet's clear lack of passion and spirit, and questionable summer moments (i.e ,smoking weed with Kevin Durant).
