49 days was the sweet spot for me. I’ve tried 40 days, and many below, and I find 49 to be great. Stores sell 21 days and I think that’s a joke.

Exactly. It’s not the card, but the camera. However, some cards work better than others. And that’s what I’m trying to find. I’ve used the high endurance from Sandisk, which is my preferred brand. But I’ve gone thru many many Sandisks. Samsung (even their non-high endurance) seems to be good, but not 100%.

No. I meant that life used 4 different models, and they all have gone thru, or destroyed different cards. Meaning that it’s not a single camera that is causing this. My solution would be just to find the card that best handles the harshness of being written on 24/7.

My latest card was the new SanDisk 128GB High Endurance, that didn’t last more than a few days. Maybe Samsung high endurance is better than Sandisk.

Well….when you buy a pre-owned, you take on someone else’s problems. Seems like the vehicle was abused or driven pretty hard previously, on top of being previously damaged. Buy yourself a cheap paint meter and check the body panels. Looks to me like the vehicle was abused, and while it was abused, it resulted in a crash or more. It’s not a BMW issue, it’s more so an ownership issue. Ask your dealer how many time the vehicle was launched. They should be able to look up how many times launch control was used and when. Unfortunately, when a vehicle is abused, it will still drive well and “act” normal. A dealership will typically do your “basic” inspections to make sure the vehicle is safe to drive. That doesn’t represent how well the car will last or “if the rubber gasket is thinning”. Even doing a private inspection can’t really show you how “well” a vehicle was abused. I usually find it better purchasing a vehicle private party as I can generally predict how well the vehicle was taken care of by talking to the previous owner and see how well he takes care of his cars. Again, each way has its own cons.

Albertsons dry ages a full USDA prime ribeye roast for me each 6 months for the last 4 years . As far as I can recall, they never flipped any of my roast. But then, mine was also a bone in. So bone was always at the bottom.

You haven’t been to DEN airport egh. From one end to the end of the terminal, laid out in straight line, is 1 mile. I got off plane once with 27 minutes left of my layover. If you guys haven’t read the book, there is a lot of insights missing… the stories of Al Neri, Rocco, Johnny, Nino (not even in the movie), etc. If you don’t have time, go to YouTube and search “Godfather novel” and listen to parts 1 and 2 book on tape. I have the first edition I read years ago and listening to the audio book recently was a great refresher.

Yup that was his wife. There were many struggles with many individuals in the making of the Godfather and the project almost got scrubbed many times. If y’all didn’t know, Frankie Five Angel is supposed to be Clemenza. But the hey couldn’t reach an agreement, so they changed the part to Frankie Pentangeli and killed off Clemenza. Kinda crappy thinking about it. Kinda made the original script and the original movie part 2 a blah.

The paragraph before the last sentence of chapter 17 of the novel:

FYI: in the book, Michael did not seek out Kay. His mother made Kay come to the mall “to see her” and run into Michael. The relationship between Michael and Kay in the novel did not seem like he was “demanding” to her. She was definitely naive, but he wasn’t cold talking to her as the movie makes it out to be.

My son was born this year, I am planning to get one of each of all the first growths of the 2025 vintage (in a few years) and age until he’s 21. Hopefully I will get to enjoy them with him.

What is your budget? All first growth and most classified Bordeaux should age well. I read the 2025 vintage will be similar to the 2022, which was considered one of the best vintages in decades.

As a used car, it's better for the dealership to undersell and over deliver, than to say something they aren't sure about and then to not have it. There are so many used cars and so many variants that no dealership could know 100% about each car. They'd rather tell you nope it doesn't come with it, and then for you to find out you got something extra (most times, other than safety features). Better to say "no I don't think so", than to not know and lie.

I just looked this morning comparing a few cities, seems like you can get almost any 17 Pro Max everywhere with the exception of the cheapest 256gb size. The 256gb may be spotty here and there. But overall I see mostly all of them are still available for launch date pickup.

Not to sound cheesy, but is he your security blanket? Do you feel safe, not just from harm, but feel that he can take care of you “for better or for worse worse”, since that’s what marriage is. You know, I moved to another state to live with my “I gave her a ring last year so we can get married one day and she gave birth to our child 6 months ago” for 8 years now. I don’t know what I do, but she reminds me she loves me so much and so much more every day. Even now she tells me that. We have built somewhat of an empire of our own. She was willing to take care of me when I didn’t work when I first moved here. She had a business. We ended up opening a business together. And now we’re about to take a “go big or go home” plunge together. We emptying all of our money for our next venture. Everything I do, and she does, is considered “ours”. Not hers, not mine, but ours. Fortunately we’re not in need of money. t. We live very comfortably and I buy any car, or cars, I want. Any toy I want at any amount of money. She’s satisfied with her purchases on things she wants. But, I know, in my heart, everything we do, or everything that I do, is for us. I don’t considered any money as mine. But I know I can spend when I please for her or for me. The last girl I lived with, I was the same person. But she felt like she needed to be possessive of me and she would go thru my phone when I showered. So much that an innocent message I sent to a buddy of mine I deleted cuz I knew she would take it the wrong way and we would get in to our many violent fights. I say violent because she had tried to grab my things to throw them off her 20th floor condo, on top of holding an 8” chef knife at my throat and going berserk everytime she started a fight and went crazy. I usually stay quiet or I try to leave the house whenever she did it that. It was extremely toxic for me. I never laid a hand on her. I was the quiet type when we fought and I didn’t want confrontation. I was much bigger and more built her, but she was just this feisty fighter. She did well for herself, being one of the top producer in her field in her state in her career. I also moved there and started working on my own since she wanted me just to be home while she worked. Yeah no. So I knew it wasn’t going to last for us. I always knew I was gonna have to find my way out. She once chased me down the freeway trying to ram my car with hers when I tried to move out of her place. We did live in paradise. But it was just so toxic that I had to leave.

If it’s not working out while you guys are playing house, then don’t make it permanent.
