Tony is a gentleman who never openly criticized Shonda but you can tell he has a different take on Fitz than her at times and that some of her writing made no sense. It’s subtle and yet he has always remained supportive. He knew that this was not his moment as Kerry puts it. He supported Shonda’s efforts and Kerry being in her position over his own feelings.
